We will update the website as soon as we know when we are able to safely open the salon. In the meantime, we wanted to give you some information about our preparations and how things will work in our new system

Bliss Hairdressing New Procedures

We have carried out a Risk Assessment with our staff covering electrical, hazards and new hygiene procedures.
We have also had One-To-One meetings to ensure they all feel safe coming back to work
All hygiene products and equipment are now in the salon
Face Masks, Visor’s, disposable towels and gowns, gloves, Hand Sanitiser, Bacterial Wipes and sprays, the use of Saloncide to constantly clean all hairdressing equipment.
Social Distancing measures and extended appointment times are in place which means we can only accommodate 60% of our normal capacity
Cleaning and waste dispensing systems are in place
Some salon services we will not be able to offer due to time differences .

List of procedures for Clients

  • Please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell
  • Stand outside the door until we guide you into the salon
  • Clients to wash or Sanitise their hands on arrival
  • Please wear a face mask we can provide one if needed
  • Clients must sit at the styling station straight away
  • Coat covers for the wardrobe will be provided
  • No Refreshments just bottle water
  • No magazines
  • No Cash
  • All card payments at the Station
  • If possible use bank transfer in salon
  • There will be extended appointment times
  • Please do not handle any Retail products ask a member of staff

Appointments

  • We will contact all clients who already have a future appointment to confirm.
  • We will text and email all clients who were booked in this year, to inform them when the appointment book will be open exclusively for our clients.
  • There will be a pacific date from when we will be taking bookings, this will be one week before we reopen.
  • All appointments will be by telephone only.
  • Online booking will only resume when the salon reopens.

To accommodate as many clients and Stylists as possible we will be working in two six hour shifts

This will be based on a two week rotation
Half the staff will work Friday the other half Saturday
Kendra will not be back in the salon until September

At Bliss Hairdressing our philosophy is a friendly professional service combined with creative hairdressing using professional products we believe in.

To keep the right standards our ongoing training for assistants as well as stylists is the key factor, it is important to constantly move things forward to keep everything interesting for the client and the Team. The experience should be enjoyable for the hairdresser and the client.

Our salon is on two floors containing twelve styling positions and four backwashes. The salon has air conditioning on both floors. We sell three retail brands; TIGI, Morrocan Oil, Milk Shake and GHD Irons. For our technical services we use is Wella Colour and we have Wella Master Colour Experts within the salon

All our systems are computerised including appointments and client record cards. We also send a text message to all of our clients prior to their appointment as a gentle reminder, just in case you need to rearrange your appointment. Our refreshments menu includes tea, coffee (including decaf), bottled water, juice and fruit teas – all free of charge.

Its important to feel relaxed when you are in the salon so all our theam aim to make this possible, that is why we will take the time to sit down with you and discuss your hair before any procedure.
